New 11kV DNO connection designed to support glass factory in Merseyside.

ICS were nominated Principal Contractor to successfully carry out the design and build of a new 11kV connection, taking the Point of Connection, from existing 11kV network on the industrial estate.

Design and build new brick built DNO / iDNO substation including 1MW RMU/AMU, 11kV/415v transformer, loop in 11kV cabling approx. 500m on highway.

Design and installation of LV distribution across the factory.

Equipment & Services

  • Installation & Testing of SPEN/Ecllipse Power Specification 11kV, 185mm2 Al Cable, with Terminations.
  • New brick-built DNO/iDNO substation, to SPEN and Eclipse Power specification.
  • Installation & Testing of all Multicore Cables between iDNO and Customer Substation
  • Design and installation of LV board and 415v distribution cabling and cut-outs across the factory
